Measuring sixteen inches in diameter, this tea cosy was made by sisters Mary and Elizabeth Hudson from spare pieces of material left over from when they used to make clothes for the gentry while they were in their twenties. The detail is remarkable, with delicate flowers and leaves clearly visible.
