KNIFTON John "Jack"
Passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, March 10, 2005 in his 83rd year; beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Mitchell) for 52 years; loving father of Bill and Debbie of Wilberforce, and Kate Mannen of Brantford; cherished grandfather of Becky, Katie, Amy and Jessica, and great-grandfather of Landry; predeceased by his brother Gordon and sister Aileen. Survived by his sister Enid. Jack proudly served overseas in the R. C. A. F. during the Second World War, and was a member of the Dundson Legion. Jack retired from Ontario Hydro after a 34 year career. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett - Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 752-4331. A Tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
