Inquest before the Coroner for the Hundred of Morleston and Litchurch. – On the 29th ult. a child aged about four years, son of William Knifton, of Ireton Wood, in this county, labourer, in the absence of the mother for a few minutes only, communicated some fire to his wearing apparel, and before the flames were extinguished, was so severely burned as to occasion his death in a few hours. — A Coroner’s Inquest was held by Mr. Bateman on view of the body, when a verdict of “accidental death” was recorded.
